Name change?

hi girls!

so when exactly does our name change? Is it whatever we put on the marriage license is what our name will change to, and then we go through changing our name on everything we need to (IRS, Soc Sec, banks, etc...)?

And it's not official until you change your name with social security. Your name on file with them is your legal name. That should be your first change before anything else.
