Garnet Eve Designs v. Retail Florist?

I'm trying to figure out what vendor to use for flowers. I've priced out flowers and Sarah (Garnet Eve Designs) is the most affordable. Has anyone used Garnet Eve Designs? How did the flowers turn out? Is there a difference between using someone who works out of their home vs. a retail florist like Viviano's or Thrifty? Is there a difference in quality? I just want to make sure I have all the facts before making a decision. I appreciate any feedback! Thank you!

Just because you don't have a written contract doesn't mean that one doesn't exist and Michele can walk away at any time. You just need to meet all the elements of a contract in order to prove that there is one. Of course that can be a pain in the butt, which is why written contracts are always best. (I'm an attorney.)

Sarah does use a contract, and she's been doing flowers for over 10 years. Unfortunately, there's only one review on Wedding Wire (a 5.0), so I was hoping that maybe there are others who have used her but just didn't post a review. I've meet with some florists who work out of shops, and I've liked their creativity. Right now, it comes down to cost and quality. Does going with a retail florist give any peace of mind? That's basically what I'm trying to figure out, so I appreciate anyone's opinion or personal experience. :)
  • I'm using Garnet Eve now for my wedding....she can recommended by a friend of mine...I did get a contract and she is amazing with communication and making sure you get what you want.
