Vendor Help!

I have been calling around to a few vendors who have been highly recommended through The Knot but all seem to be booked on my wedding day - any suggestions?? Here are the vendors I have called so far because of their styles...

Makeup - Gina Brozon (booked), Jeanine Mangan (waiting to hear back)
Photographer - Jessica Lauren (waiting to hear back)
Videography - Kaan Tulgar (booked)

These are the ones I am looking for - I have called the people I have listed but haven't had any luck with booking anyone because no one is available on my date.

When is your wedding?  I can recommend my makeup artist, as she is a friend and does makeup professionally, but part-time so she doesn't advertise, only by word of mouth.

I love my makeup artist - Jennifer Andres from At Long Lash.  She's in Monmouth County, not sure where your wedding is.

When looking for a makeup artist I looked into Gina too and she was booked. I also tried Jeanine and she cancelled on me twice! Therefore, I thought it was time to move on from her. I ended up finding Jillyan Scarpa and LOVED her! I highly recommend her. For photography I used John Agnello and loved him too. He's hysterical and had me laughing all night. I used Unique Video for videography and was very happy with them. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Look at Robert Wayne Photography for photos and Chris from Digital Memories for video.  Since I'm the future groom . . . ugh . . . I don't really have recommendations on make-up.

But definitely be open-minded and talk to a few vendors for each category.  It's the only way you can make an informed decision.

I looked into Jessica Lauren.  I liked her style but she seemed a little expensive.  We wound up booking with The Artist Group.  They do photography and video.  We're actually getting a lot more for our money then we would  have with booking with 2 different vendors.  We did our engagement pics on Monday night and by Tuesday afternoon they had about 20 pictures up on their blog for us to see.  They constantly update the blog which I like.  We had a blast working with Matt on Monday night.
