    I'll start -

I've been slacking lately mostly due to finals and a super busy work schedule with my three jobs, but I've gotten SO much done in the past week.
Dress - had a dress fitting and scheduled what I think will be my final fitting. <33
Hair - Got ahold of my hair lady and scheduled a trial run for the night of the rehearsal dinner so that way we can just see how everything looks and stuff.
Decorations - I picked out centerpieces, the cake topper and something else I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Cake - I've been emailing back and forth with the cake baker and she's just wonderful. FI and i decided on flavors and now the baker and I are working on the theme of the groom's cake.
Photography - The photographer is now paid and full, and we are working on scheduling a meeting time to go over the day-of schedule and setting up a time for (super late) engagement photos. Oh and I just got the proof for the photobooth strips and they look really nice.
Venue - We have a venue meeting tomorrow, with the final payment (SUCH a load off).

I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting and I know I'm super behind, but I'm getting it in gear. :)

    And today -
We're looking at wedding bands for FI (I have mine already).
Write and Send thank you cards from bridal shower.
Send invites that haven't gone out due to missing addresses for FFIL
Finally discuss food (FIL is catering.)

I'm finally meeting with our DOC tomorrow night!

My bachelorette party, if you can call it that, will be me going to the bocce ball place with my coworkers for a game and dinner on Monday night. I'm also having dinner with our bandleader (bass player) and his wife (saxophone player) on Tuesday night at their house. Awkward! I'm the pickiest eater in the world, so I'm stressing about that.

I'm going to start hounding my bridal salon for a shipment date on my dress. The date I was originally given was 5/17. So I'm their new best friend until I get it.

It's 17 days until I pick up FI and bring him back to the States. It still doesn't seem real.

    Oh man, a lot. I've done a lot. But I don't know, I can't think of everything.

Moved our DJ meeting to the 19th
Paid the florist in full and met with her
Picked up all the decorations that were made for us by our fmaily friend who is a florist
Got head counts for hair and make up and am waiting to here back from my MUA and stylist on that so I can finally start my day of time line
Went and got our marriage license
Put together some stuff for hotel bags that we'll be stuffing this weekend
Getting my last three peoples rsvp's so we can do our seating chart this weekend and FI can take the place cards to work to label them
Sent tentative head counts to the venue/caterer (with the 99% sure responses of the said three in limbo)
Gave the RD guest list number to FMIL so she can get in touch with that caterer
Have my hpefully final fitting a week from today and will be buying my hair piece
Finally picked a ring bearer and got the yes from his mother
Did some b-party planning with my MOH
And now I will be obsessively stalking the extended forecast on accuweather since June 1st went up today

I think that's it. For now.

Bought the rest of the stuff for our centerpieces.
Painted the metal arbor that will be set up for the ceremony.
    Had our final floral consultation.
    Finalized cake details.
Bought some more things for bridesmaids gifts.
Mailed the deposit for the caterer.
I also started baking cookies today for the cookie table. I'm trying to do cookies that I can make in large quantities and that freeze well, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Big items from last week were getting our marriage license and having our engagement photos taken (finally!). I also had my first alterations/fitting appointment.

Picked up the stationary and apothecary jar I needed for our guest book. Purchased cuff links from Etsy for my FI (he's gonna love them!).

Today I really need to pick up some Thank You cards to start filling out for my shower(s) and I also need to shop for my under the dress undies! And our Ketubah just arrived via UPS!!! It's beautiful!

Spoke with my florist this morning, she's sending over the updated contract for final review. Also spoke to my DOC at the venue this morning and rescheduled our final meeting for the 22nd...

Soon it will be time to do the programs and escort cards. And I need to pay the balance of the cake.

Afraid of what I havent done - but I am looking at it this way, I have the basics done, I have a location, caterer, an officiant and the invites are out, the rest is just gravy?  And I have a FI who loves me and would marry me today if I asked....

I have a list and my MOH, who I have to say is the best ever, is being very helpful, getting extra stuff done, but right now a lot of my time is being taken up by work and my mother's decline in health....

    Hey June Brides!

We got our marriage license on Monday so that was our last Big Check.  Other than that its now the little details (seating chart, escort cards, table cards, etc).

I have my hair trial on Saturday and on Sunday we are going to finalize all the rehearsal dinner stuff and I am shopping with FI to pick his band and FMIL to pick her dress.

Our RSVPs were due yesterday, but there are of course some stragglers, so I'm giving people till Friday before we start making phone calls.

My bachelorette party is next weekend (yay) and I also have my final dress fitting!

Yesterday was my official 1 month to go!!! Getting excited :)

So many checks, great job ladies!

I have one last paper for school that is due on Sunday, and then I can finally devote my full attention to this wedding!

We got our marriage license last week, and paid off our venue.  I finalized the contract with the florist, and I'm making the final payment tomorrow.  Had my second fitting today, and have decided to only eat lettuce and water for the next five weeks.  I made a shopping list of what else I need to order online, and hopefully I will get that done within the next few days.  Holy cats this is coming up quick!

This is my go-to sugar cookie recipe:

    http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/sugar-cookies/90993177-b5fe-4cc7-a6b6-8f58913d36e8

I make a big batch, refrigerate it a bit so it's not too soft, then rollout as much as will fit on the counter. Then I cut it into squares with a pizza cutter instead of messing with cookie cutters. It's a lot faster that way. Make sure you use real vanilla instead of imitation! You can freeze them plain and decorate later. I just make a really runny powdered sugar/vanilla/milk icing and put it in a squeeze bottle (dollar store). Then I just drizzle it over and add sprinkles instead of trying to frost them perfectly.

Other good freezable cookies are oatmeal scotchies and chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips (the recipes from the bags of butterscotch/peanut butter chips):

    https://www.hersheys.com/recipes/recipe-details.aspx?id=5366

If you have a jelly roll pan, you could make either of these into bars, which would save you some time. I think they don't cook evenly enough if you use a cake pan.

Sadly, I still have a lot to do cause I'm a student and I'm now in finals. Hope to get more done once the tests are over :(
