I'm not sure where you are looking, but in the Cranberry area the best price is $99 per night.  The Comfort Inn quoted $68, but the hotel is not all that impressive.

I never realize how expensive the rooms were per night! Maybe I'm being cheap.  Although DF and I book through priceline alot so thats the difference maybe?

Best of luck!  The Holiday Inn Express sent me an email talking about their shuttle service.  I inquired, come to find out they don't really have one, but they could give me contact informaiton to hire a company to do it for $400!

My room blocks are downtown and are quoted much higher than that, so I'd say $90 a night is pretty good.  I wasn't able to find anywhere that had a free shuttle available, either.

My block is down town and much higher too. So I'd say $90 isn't bad at all.

That sounds like a great price! Mine were downtown and $119 and $129.

I couldn't find a reasonable shuttle either, so I used Your Designated Driver for myself and guests. HTH!

    Hey cari,
I'm having my reception near the airport.  I'm getting 2 hotel blocks-Courtyard Mariott is only $69/night, then Embassay Suites (with TONS of extras) is $119.

Thanks Kwynn for that info!  I was looking for a shuttle service and was quoted at $420 to just pick people up from the reception and take them to the hotel - which I thought was crazy!!  So I will def. look into that.  My hotels are also in the city so they are around the $119 range as well.

Mine is in the city and the "special" rate for us is $119, which was the best I found in the area. We have to extend the shuttle because our reception will go over the normal time that they have the shuttle running, and it is $67, including tax and gratuity. What about a school bus (seriously)? My friend accidentally booked a school bus, thinking it was a traditional shuttle, was nervous about it, and then found that her guests LOVED it, especially AFTER the reception. !

Cari $90 is a great deal! Mine were $179 due to that G20 Summit during my wedding weekend. That really stunk!

My block is in Pleasant Hills, and it's 125... the other hotel nearby was 115, but had no shuttle. The Springhill Suites had the free shuttle, so we went with them.

We blocked at the same two hotels! The Embassy is a great deal, and they gave our guests a free shuttle to and from our reception. We stayed in their Presidential suite on our wedding night and also got a free shuttle the airport in the morning for our HM flight. Guests also get a free hot breakfast. I'd definitely recommend the Embassy!
