Hey there ladies!  Hope everyone is having a good week.  I am just blah.  The wedding is in 31 days.  Don't get me wrong, I am super excited...but there are moments when I ask "Why didn't we just run off to Aruba"?!?!? 
This too shall pass.

Our oldest dog Lacie is having surgery today too.  DF dropped her off this morning at the vet and said she looked so nervous.  I was in tears just saying Good Bye to her at the house.  (Usually not this emotional...ugh).  Any T&P would be appreciated.

So, anyone have some good wedding news?  I need some motivation!!!

Aww I'll be thinking about your dog. That must have been hard. What kind of dog is she?

One of our friends made our stds, and we just got them this past weekend! They are sooo cute! Here's a picture of what they look like minus the words and before she added little sparkly jewel things to kind of be like stars in the sky (FI proposed on a beach just after sunset).

I will third the eloping thing.  I dont really want to elope, but planning stuff can be stressful.  Also, so expensive!  Sometimes I wonder if we should have spent our money in different ways...but there's no point in that. 

Wedding-wise, I haven't done much.  We have our e-pics/tasting in a month though, and I did find e-pic outfits.  So that's good.

janice - T&P for Lacie!  I'm sure that was really hard for you, and I hope she recovers quickly!

Thanks ladies!  We just got the call from the vet.  Lacie is out of surgery and everything went well.  I feel so much better!!!  (Still wondering why we didn't elope though...lol)

Last night I woke up at 3am and then immediately starting thinking about the wedding, the planning, second-guessing a bunch of stuff..  Couldn't fall back asleep.  Ugh.  I just need to remember what my mom told me:  "In the end, all your guests will actually remember about your wedding is if they had an overall good time, if they had enough to eat, and if they had enough to drink."    lol.

FI and I tossed around the idea of having a private "symbolic" ceremony on our honeymoon.. just the two of us, no stress, no planning, no making DIY stuff, no dealing with vendors.... so in the end we can say we had the best of both worlds: a traditional big wedding, and a small, intimate ceremony as well.
