has anyone noticed that the new format is eating some of the post?

Like one minute a new topic is there and then the next minute it is gone and I cant find it...

I can't post a new discussion from my iPad! It keep saying "category is required" and when I select new discussion, I get the same message. This sucks big time! I can post within the thread but not start a new one!? What part of the game is that!?
