"Pure Love" by Rod Stewart Mother-Son dance?

My Mother in law has picked out "Pure Love" by Rod Stewart just curious is this an appriopriate Mother-son dance song?  It's is beautiful but almost seems like a romantic song. Thoughts ladies??

I don't think its romantic in a sense that it couldn't apply to a parent child relationship. I actually think the words are really pretty. I mean you could take it romantically but I think if a mother and son are dancing to it everyone will take it almost as if it's the parent giving their child advice and also saying that they will always be there for them.
