I am just wondering how the knot chooses their 2013 picks for DJ's?

    I don't know.  I suspect it has something to do with who advertises with them.  But that is my own supposition based on which vendors are rated as "the best" in my area.

    Also, assuming you are asking because you are looking for a DJ, your best bet would be to ask on your local board for recommendations so you can get advice based on real experience.

    I did a lot of research on this exact thing and from what I learned, the picks don't mean much.
