Morning Ladies!
Sorry I was MIA yesterday - I got super busy at work Anyway, it's been a while since I started a GM post! Last night just had class so nothing terribly exciting. I stopped at the printer and got my RD invites printed this morning, have to pick them up in about an hour. I'm going to address them and send them out tomorrow! I'm super excited, my shower is this coming weekend!! I feel like the week is just going to crawl by... Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey everyone!

Work is going to be awful this week. I will definitely need that drink by Friday at the GTG :-)

Nothing too exciting to report. I cook again last night (sweet and sour spare ribs, rice, and white asparagus) and my neighbor came over for dinner. Dinner turned out ok, although I was not happy with the asparagus.

GM- How did you do your RD invites?
Amy- I dread doing my seating chart.

Good Morning! I got caught in the rain this morning. I purposely took my umbrella out of my bag because the weather men said that the rain moved out of the area. yeah right. I got soaked.

Last night, FI and I practiced our dance moves for class today. FI concentrates so hard and he just stares at me with his thinking hard face and it cracks me up. We had fun. Other than that, I looked at plane tickets for the honeymoon, and booked our hotel for the first part of our honeymoon. I tried the one hotel that I  had frustrations with last week, and got another error message. I contacted the Web master who again said it was my credit card. I found another hotel and booked it with my hotel. I wrote the Web master back and said, It is not my card b/c I just used it to book another hotel, check your system. Bah.

G- Yay for showers!!!!!! Where is yours?? Have you been stalking your registry?? How much do you know about it??

Amy- I need to start my seating chart too.

Sari- I'm sorry your asparagus didn't turn out. The best, most foolproof recipe I use is to roast the asparagus, snap off bottoms, line them up on a non-stick sprayed cookie sheet, add a couple teaspoons of oil and salt and pepper, roast at 400-425 for about 20 minutes. Delicious.

Jbaxter- I actually use that recipe a lot! lol I cook other veggies that way too  (squash and zucchini especially). But if I am in a hurry, I put salt and pepper on the veggies, then put them in my steamer (I have an all-clad steamer that is amazing). Unfortunately, the white asparagus just wasn't very fresh and was thicker than I like it to be. Too crunchy. I steamed the remaining asparagus longer to see if that helped and it still wasn't good. I really just don't think I got a good batch of the stuff. That and I like green asparagus better. That always turns out well.

j - I'm SO excited! And yes, I have definitely been registry stalking!! The shower is at the Edgeworth Club in Sewickley and other than the place, that's all I know! In fact, it was supposed to be a total surprise but my MOH didn't write surprise on the invite and people started talking to me about it! Lol... I'm happy anyway b/c I don't like surprises. I **think** there is still a shower to come here in Philly, but I know nothing of it...
