Nationwide bridal shops

Hello all! I will be getting married and I want my sister to go dress shopping with me. The catch is I live i Ga and she lives in PA. I am going to visit her and go to look at dresses there.

What nation wide shops are there so I can transfer my purchase for alterations/fittings etc to a store back in Ga. I already planned in davids bridal and Alfred Angelo. Any other reqs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You can try any salon, regardless if whether they have a nationwide presense.  If you try on any designer (Mori Lee, Casablanca, Maggie Sotterro, etc.), you should still be able to buy it at a local salon near you who carries that designer.

Yeah, I'd suggest thinking of designers rather than shops as well. I couldn't find anything I liked in the color I wanted at DB, so we ended up going with a dress made by the Dessy Group. I had BMs all over the country and each could get it shipped to their own local bridal salon (Two in California, one in New Jersey, one in DC and one in Virginia).

Thank you all for your kind reply and tips! I check around with some different designers and find some shops I could utilize. I guess it could also be an option that I could buy the dress that I want on that day and when I get it, go with a separate seamstress for the alterations.

you can get your dress ordered anywhere they can ship it to the store or sometims your house and you can take it to any alterations person
