So, you've probably become sick of my posts about my dress dilemma: bought long dress with plans to cut it, it arrived and was too pretty to cut but my FILs were giving me a bit of slack about having a long dress for a court wedding. Blah blah.
Maybe it was the pressure (I'm a wuss), but the last time I tried it on, I didn't like it anymore. Even as a long dress. Even though it's stunning, I felt like it just wasn't my style (I got it used on ebay, and just didn't have very much choice when shopping). So, with two weeks till the wedding, I decided to go hunting in town for just one last shot. I went to a few ready-to-wear shops and decided to hit some thrift stores. And, there it was: a mint Dolly Couture dress!
I put this dress on and I feel beautiful, and I can't stop smiling. This is the kind of dress I would have bought had we not started planning our wedding last month; I've always pictured myself in a dress like this - and, it's short! So, it's all worked out.
So, thank you all for helping me with my dress woes and putting up with the constant posts!

There are some minor alterations that can be done, but I have tailoring experience, so I can bang those out this week. What do you think?
