Thoughful Bridesmaid Story...

There seems to be a lot of stories on this board about "bridesmaid gone bad" I thought I'd share a story about one of my bridesmaids because not all bridesmaids go bad:

I have to share a touching story that happen yesterday with my Matron of Honor...

we have known each other for like 15 years or so and yesterday we were talking and she asked me if we bought our wedding bands, and I said no not yet, she said well if I'm interested I'd like to give you my wedding band ( from her previous marriage) to trade in for yours.  I was so touched and my mom, fiancé and stepdad were also touched by this gesture.

I'm so grateful for having some wonderful friends who think of me and I'm so happy to have her stand next to me on our wedding day.

Kiss   have a great day!

My bestie of over 20 years, who's my MOH went with me when I went to purchase my wedding gown.

It was outside of my budget, so I was looking at going over by an amount I was uncomfortable with.

She, however, reminded me that THIS dress made me feel beautiful, and I loved it.

Then she plunked down for the deposit on my gown so I could make it fit into my budget.

Suffice to say, I'm grateful to her for helping me out in making my wedding come true.

Of course, she's also taking the day off before my wedding so we can run around doing last minute errands, and she's offered to do whatever I want her to do for my wedding (rent a tux for her son who's my RB, have her hair done the way I want, get shoes, dress, etc...whatever I want).  Needless to say, she's been told "Here's the color, buy shoes you'll wear again, and try to find a dress you can wear again!  Put the kiddo in a cute little outfit and let's call it wonderful!

Yeah, I'm pretty damn lucky!  :)
