Bridesmaids' shoes problem!

The last wedding I was in, the bride asked us to buy gold shoes. It didn't matter what they looked like, just that they were gold. I had never before in my life bought gold shoes, so I really didn't know what would look good, especially with the bright purple bridesmaid dress I was wearing. So I ended up buying three different pairs to figure out which one would work best, obviously only wore one of them, and never found time to go return the two pairs I didn't wear.

Now, I know this was pretty much entirely on me, but now I'm stuck with three pairs of gold shoes that I will never in my life wear again. It's not a huge deal, but it is kind of annoying.
