Ideas needed

Hey Ladies!  I hope you're having a great Tuesday!  I have a quick question for all of you...
I inherited some centerpieces from my cousin's wedding.  I want to decorate them, but I don't want to use flowers like on the box.  Ideas or sites that might have ideas would be helpful.

Off the top of my head you could do a few different things:

put a submerged LED in the bottom and fill with clear rocks (something similar to this but without the flowers or this <--click)

or fill with water and put a floating candle on top (like this <-- click)

depending on how large it is, maybe some sort of fruit could work (like this <-- click)

Pinterest seriously has so many great ideas. I'd recommend using that for inspiration. Hope this helps!

Do you have a theme for your wedding? Trying to tie that in might work. I agree - candles, fill the base with sand or something eye catching, etc

No theme.  My colors are fushcia and silver.  They're designed to hold a taper candle which is what my cousin did.  (I'm recycling:)  I have some crystals in hot pink to put in them, but I'm looking for what to do with the metal part.  I don't want to wrap flowers b/c that's what was on them before.
I have been stalking pinterest since October.  I love that site!

This might not go with your aesthetic, but what about getting thick beading wire and wrapping it around the metal part with beads on the wire in your colors? Like making a necklace around it of sorts.

What about something like this?  Just requires some lace and some spray paint (click).
