Introduction... :o)

Hello Ladies...
I know I've already posted to the board, but I figured I would introduce myself.
My FI and I got engaged this past November in Kansas where we both lived at the time. We were planning our wedding for June 12, 2010 and it was going to be in Kansas. While we were planning I was finishing up nursing school and the whole process became very stressful on top of school and work...so we decided to postpone until things were a little less hectic.

Since then I have graduated nursing school and obtained my RN lisence! woot! I have also moved back to PA where my family lives. Right now we are researching wedding locations, vendors, etc. and have not set an official date. I am also impatiently waiting for FI to once and for all secure a position and move here.

Our wedding will be small 75-100 people. I really want it to be classic, traditional, vintage, with a few of our own personal touches. We have thrown around the idea of an outdoor wedding and a tent reception. We also really like the idea of an old, cathedral church. Any suggestions are welcomed! I actually live in the Johnstown area, but would prefer a Pittsburgh area wedding.

So needless to say things are a bit crazy right now and I just want to be married already!! :o)

Thanks for reading my book/introduction/rant....Smile

    Hello and congratulations!!!

My wedding is about 100 people, and we are having it at the 20th Century Club, I recommend checking it out. It has fantastic details that would fit your vintage theme!

Congrats and welcome! I totally hear ya on the "just want to be married already" feeling- I was the same way since DH and I had a long engagement. Everyone says it, but time will sneak up on you and it'll be here before you know it. Enjoy the beginning of your planning!
