Marriage License

Hello! We got it!

We got up at seven and drove up to Gettysburg, got our license and had breakfast at a cute French bistro. FI is back at work and I am home sick *cough* *cough* the rest of the day. :) I am so happy to have this checked off our list.

Oh, I know there was some banter recently about this... this specific county, Adams, let us take the license with us, we just can't use if for three days.

    I still need to get that done.... I think we are going to go next week.  They all let you take it with you from what I heard.

    Allegheny County's website specifically mentions the license being ready 3 days after the application date and can be picked up by anyone. Butler County's website alludes to being able to take it with you right after applying. Westmoreland County is less clear about taking it that day or 3 days later but does mention the license can be picked up by anyone.
