Our reception is at the zoo in the aquarium so any insight from anyone who had their recption their would be greatly appreciated as well!

  • I belong to a very small old luthern church on the street right above the zoo. It's quaint, old fashioned and very simple. It's on Jancy. Here is the outside. I'm only reccomending if you are looking for a close site. The pastor is really really nice and down to earth.  PM me if you want details.

I had a friend who got married in Frick and Highland which are close to the zoo. You may even want to consider having your ceremony at the zoo since that would be the easiest. Also, could you PM me a bit of information about the Zoo and Aquarium? I've left a few messages and haven't heard back. Is rental and set up included blah blah things like that.

<div>The Zoo does not do ceremonies.</div><div>
</div><div>OP, you could consider some of the local parks, St. Mary of the Mount on Mt. Washington, Schenley Plaza (Randi Voss has a blog post from last year with a wedding that did the exact same thing), Heinz Chapel if you are Pitt alum, First Unitarian in Shadyside, and Heinz Hist.ory Center.</div><div>
