Escort Cards with Seating Chart

I'm making a poster board that tells people what table they will be sitting at. Do I still need escort cards?

poster is fine is you are just assigning the table and then they sit at whatever seat at that assigned table.

we have a meal selection, so our venue still wanted an individual escort card and will put up a poster to help with a "visual/map" of where each table is located.
