We have a venue, set a date and I have my gown!!!
Originally we were planning a September 2014 wedding at the beach but that wasn't going to be feasible with our budget, so we went with the next best thing and it has proven to be AWESOME! We booked our March 15, 2014 wedding reception (and possibly ceremony) with The Windsor Ballroom at the Holiday Inn in East Windsor.
We couldn't be more impressed. We're looking at roughly $55pp for a Saturday evening. We have awesome extras thrown in at no cost and they include the cake, center pieces AND the presidential suite for the night of for myself and fi.
On top of it all, I have my gown! I will be wearing my mothers Priscilla of Boston gown. We are going to modify it to my style (not changing much just removing the long sleeves and adjusting the waist and bust of the dress). I couldn't be more thrilled. My Mom is ecstatic that I will be wearing her gown.
So that's 3 check marks off of our never ending list. Next to call our church to see if they have the date available.
It's all coming together. 299 days to go!!!!!
