fun alcohol ideas-ice sculpture?

I was at a wedding this past weekend and they had an ice sculpture that a bar tender poured a shot through of certain flavored vodkas and you caught the shot in a chocolate shot glass. It was so cool and my FI and I want to do something fun like that as well. Both of our families are big drinkers and we want to have something fun on top of the open bar. Any Ideas???

Maybe a specially-themed station?  I know our venue has options like a martini station, mojito station, etc. 

 

Also, this just reminds me of college where they had the ice luge and people just stuck their mouths directly on them. It was so gross.  I'm glad the event you went to had people using shot glasses!

dh and i had an ice thing at our cocktail hour  (7.5 years ago) that only the bartender touched. then again we had a special 'vodka and caviar' table so mistaking it for anything like the ones people had in college would be impossible. it was great as DH is  aHUGE vodka drinker and we had tons of different ones. they didn't pour them into shot glasses either. just regular glasses with ice cubes.

A martini bar is always a fun add on - or better yet, one with dessert martinis after the cake cutting!

Wow that sounds super fun! I recently went to a wedding and there was  a flip cup and beer pong station. It was so fun to see the grandparents getting in on the festivities.
