NER: Possibly Pervy Question

Re: NER: Possibly Pervy Question

  • I wore the same kind of underwear I wore daily but bought a new pair that had a pretty design on it (leopard print). I didn't want to be uncomfortable all day, and you could always slip on something sexier after the wedding is over if you wanted to. I wanted comfort over sexiness.

  • Planning to wear very unsexy, beige Spanx (satin underlay, lace dress, slim/no poufy-ness style) and a sticky bra (low v-back). I'm going to get something sexy to change into.

  • I was worried about wearing something pretty and comfortable too. We were going right to our room from the reception so I didn't want to have to change into anything, just out of the dress. I wore the seamless lace from VS and they are extremely comfortable, not scratchy at all, so that would be my suggestion.

There was no way we were passing up wedding night sex.

  • lol'ing hard at this possibly being considered tmi

We call them skivvies in our house, and I'm wearing whatever skivvies I happen to pick up that day. He makes fun of the cheap skivvies I got that have rhinestones on the butt and say something like 'open me', so I guess I'll wear those for the lulz.

I left my bridal panties at home and wound up wearing a no-line thong I just happen to have. This was actually a blessing, as it was very comfortable.

Frankly, unless you have an early wedding or do a line of coke, I know less than 5 couples who had sex on their wedding day. Dress for comfort, not desire (ps, if you dress has a lot of layers and you dance a lot, you'll be all sweaty and gross anyway. Don't bother with beautiful undies unless you're going to also bathe after the wedding, at least a whorre's bath).

I just wanted to say we had sex on our wedding night. We were exhausted and I had a migraine, but we were totally doing it.
Our wedding night sex was tired and feeble, but we did it too dammit! We even did a weak hi five afterwards, we were so proud of ourselves.

Us too :-)  Haha, not the weak high five (at least, not that I recall) but the wedding night nookie.  I tried to prepare H before hand that he shouldn't get his hopes too high b/c we'd probably be exhausted, but we powered through.
  • This thread just made my evening.

Also, I would like to say that I have given no thought to what underwear I will be wearing in a few weeks. FI just looked over my shoulder, saw the theme of this thread, and asked me to please wear none at all.

  • I'm planning to wear pale blue boy shorts. They're comfy and will help reduce chafing (I'm also powdering up a storm). My dress is ballgown style, so I know I'll be roasting by the end of the night.

We're getting married in Vegas and plan to be out until dawn, so I seriously doubt there will be any nookie after being up for nearly 24 hours.
  • I'm just going to pick up a new pair of my favorite undies from VS. I like the kind that have the ruching thing in the back - only undies I've found that don't ride up at all. They make them in fun colors and with lace backs now too, so they still have the pretty factor :-)

I hate the word "panties." I prefer undies or underwear.
  • I didn't wear underwear. Just go without.
Many years ago when my cousin got married, her new husband didn't wear any underwear.  He managed to split his pants during the reception and everyone got to see EVERYTHING!
