Pittsburgh Area Photographer

Hello everyone,

I am looking for suggestions for a Pittsburgh area photographer who costs around $2000 (no prints or engagement session included).  I would like someone who is really able to capture the "moment" and has a more natural style without overly "posing" the wedding party.  I want someone with a more modern eye for capturing pictures.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I was very interested in a photographer who ended up not being available on the day I would need.

Hello!! Like you, I didn't want overly posed or stiff pictures and I wanted more of a photojournalism style. After all, some of the best pictures are candid!  I was able to find Michael Kilgore of Contemporary Photography.  He has a variety of photo packages in your price range and the quality is outstanding for the price.  He's so nice and has such an artistic eye! I am using Matt Blassey for my October 2013 wedding (http://matthewblasseyweddings.com).  He is very affordable and I thought his pictures looked really nice.

Brett Whitling photography is really good also, he and his fiance are both photographers and they don't miss a thing

Check out Gene Yuger from Photorise. Very reasonably priced and does amazing work, check out his website.

Definitely check out Breanne Kent Photography www.BnkPhoto.com She did my engagement shoot and will be shooting my wedding in July. I have also worked with her on other non wedding related shoots. She has packages beginning at $800-$2,000 and will work with you to customize if required.

Just to let everyone know, I went with Aaron Varga Photography.  He is GREAT!!!  We got our engagement photos back and I can't wait for the wedding for him to get more great shots.  If you are looking for a photographer, look into Aaron.

I definitely think you should check out CTG Photography.. look her up on google or facebook... I think she is costing us around 1800, but she has a cheaper package too.. Will be a flashdrive... engagement was included, but we swapped that for a different feature.
