Work's been crazy all week, and tomorrow I fly to Chicago for my brother's wedding. (Coming back Monday, I'll need a weekend to recover from this whirlwind trip). Got a message from top boss last night- she wants the draft of my research memo before I leave work today. Problem- I'm still doing research. Chorus of 500 minions screaming AAAHHHH!!! right now in my head. However, got to work by 7:20, have started mowing through the research, and pulling materials from other documents into draft. Just gotta add some more rules and procedures, followed by big, ginormous analysis. Plus 2 conference calls, today, time input for paycheck, time log input for internal tracking, and at least one meeting with a coworker to discuss our training presentation in a few weeks. Who knows what else I will get today, but tonight I get to finish cleaning the house, pack, and print the boarding passes. I think I'm getting a bottle of wine on the way home.
