Wood Acres Farm - Terryville, CT

Hello  everyone! I am looking into doing my wedding at Wood Acres Farm in Terryville.  Anyone have any comments on it? Good or bad?  And is it more expensive to just rent a venue that makes you do separate catering, DJ, etc. rather than just rent a venue that has all that included?

    its expensive i looked into it. its like 3 grand and some change just to rent the place they give u tables chairs and i think table cloths. you have to bring in your own caterer and bar service,, plates linins dj cake and everything else you would need it can add up and it only fits i think up to 125 so if you are having a very small wedding it would work... 

    testas in southington is where i booked we have a 5 hour evening reception included in this package is full open bar  sit down dinner ( they even include lobster tails in your menu options at no extra cost) dj cake and flower centerpeices with tax it comes to 75 a person

    I thought it was ridiculously expensive to have to pay 4 grand just to rent the place & still have to cater out.
