Hello Everyone, I'm less than a year out from my wedding. It's going to be in Bunkie, but I'm booking most of my vendors in the Lafayette area. If there are good vendors in Avoyelles Parish, I wouldn't be opposed to using them either, just haven't found much in that area.
I need the following vendors; wedding and groom's cake, live band OR DJ. The budget for the wedding cake is around $300-$400, groom's cake budget is around $300-$350. I'm having a really really hard time finding a live band that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. At this point, I think that this will be too expensive for me. I wouldn't want to spend anything over $1000 total for a band and I don't think it's realistic. I want a good cover/zydeco band. If I can't find anything for that amount, then I'll be needing good DJ's in the area. The wedding is on April 19th, 2014 at 5:30 ish (time isn't set yet, but it will be in the evening).
