Getting a Budget started, great tip!

Common phrases when planning a wedding...
"I don't know what my budget is!"
"What should my budget be?"
"How should I even start to make a budget!"
Here's a great tip for those with similar questions...

If you are going out for a date with your fiance where would you choose?

Fast Food (McDonalds, Arby's, Fazoli's)  $6.50 / person
- 2 Value Meals (Includes Entree, Side & Non-Alcoholic Beverage)

Nice Restaurant (Outback, Applebees, Brios)  $25 - $30 / person
- Rolls or Bread
- Salad
- Entree (Chicken, Pasta, Sirloin)
- One or Two Sides
- Alcoholic Beverages

Fancy Restaurant (Carlo & Johnny, Precinct, Montgomery Inn)  $50 - $60 / person
- Rolls or Bread
- Salad
- Entree (ex: Prime Rib, Lobster)
- Two Sides
- Alcoholic Beverages

Now think about your wedding and what type of meal you would like to serve your guests...  Take the amount per person and multiple it by the number of guests you will be having and start your budget from there!  (That's only catering and beverage. Note, a lot of time the alcohol served at weddings raises the price  $10-$30 / person)

This again is just a START to your wedding budget, individual vendors like photographers, DJs, florist, that's another topic! Hopefully this was helpful to all fellow brides-to-be!  I'd love to hear if anyone else has other suggestions for budgeting!
