Modern/Trendy Videographers

I am having such a hard time finding someone in the area for wedding videographer. Everything is either too staged or too old-fashioned. There is an amazing company out of Maryland called Forever Lucky Films http://vimeo.com/foreverlucky

It's very trendy and hip and exactly what I am looking for. Their work is amazing but the cost to bring them to RI is out of budget. Does anyone know of any local companies who may have a similar style?

I agree forever lucky films is very fun to watch and beautifully shot. I studied many videographers when i was planning. At first we werent going to have one then we fell in love with davids work. Im not sure what is your budget as i know he wasnt cheap but not beyond reach.

Both of them are in RI. Some tips i found out along the way. The video i watched for the lucky was very fast cuts so you would want a faster song whether they pick it our you do. As our videographer said if they know the song ahead they can study it to kinda of tailor if they need long or faster motion shots. make sure and tell or show examples to others you interview to show you do not want traditional and the sort of details you want to see.
