Need GREAT Wedding band or DJ - String or Funk music

We are live music lovers.  We refuse to have the Chicken dance, a cheesy DJ, or Top 40 played on our day.  We dream of a GREAT band who will make our day epic.  If we could afford Railroad Earth, we would hire them.

We love Phish, Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, anything funky for the older folks....a great string band.  This band also needs to appeal to my parents, great Aunts, etc. so they need to be able to play some crowd pleasers within reason.

Or.. a really great DJ recommendation that is familiar with this genre of music.

    We hired the band Airborne after hearing absolutely amazing things about them. My dad went to a wedding where they played and he said the dance floor was packed with the entire night - every single age group loved them. Also, the lead sinder is a little bit of a local celeb. He sings the National Anthem at nearly every Pittsburgh Penguins game. Airborne is represented by Entertainment Unlimited. Google the band name and you'll find clips of some of their performances.
