looking for some down to earth advice on tipping vendors. I have read some sites on tipping vendors, but wonder if sometimes it is based on different parts of the country? Can anyone share what they have done or are planning to do as far as tipping? What is customary in the cincinnati area? I know tips can always be given for good service, but what tipping is absolutely expected? My florist is the owner of her own shop, the baker is someone who bakes out of their own home, do i tip them? do you think they expect a tip ? Hiring a photo booth...how much or do i tip the person doing it if there are two, do i have to tip both? the booth is 1000$ at 20% that would be 200$ each! I am using party pleasers DJs is a 20% tip what is expected ? My photographers are a husband and wife team and own their business, do I tip them ? if so would I wait until after seeing the final pictures? Just hoping to get input on what others are planning to do or have done in the past . Thanks!
