We're getting married may 25 of next year. When should we start planning it?

 I think you can start throwing around ideas for your honeymoon as early as you'd like! That way when you begin to plan, you'll have a good idea of what you want. We started discussing honeymoon ideas quite early, and booked a little over 4 months before our wedding date. 

 I think 4-6 months before is a good mark to begin your planning too, or possibly booking it. You'll likely have a better idea of your honeymoon budget by then as well. If you're getting married May 25 of next year, you likely won't be able to book any tropical, all inclusive destinations until November-ish of this year. Which would be fine as you'll be at the '6 months-to-go' mark by then anyways.
