Treasure Island Photography/Outside Photographer

My sister got married at Treasure Island back in 2008. This is why we actually chose to marry there. Everything there was fantastic except the photography. I know Cashman does the photography and they don't have a good reputation.

I've read that TI doesn't allow outside vendors for photography.

Does anyone know if they allow outside photography on the property at all? Any ideas on how we can make the most of an outside photographer?

My sister paid over $1000 for her picture CD and Id rather get quality pictures for that amount of money!

Some people actually get good results from Cashman, but most consider their work average, and of course their pricing is completely horrible.  TI won't give you trouble taking pics outside of the chapel, so you could have a third party photog handle every other aspect of your wedding day.

If you can believe it, the price of the photo cd has actually gone up in many cases, prints are a few dollars each, $30+ for shipping things that are included in the package, etc.

I just booked my wedding with TI and they have it in the contract that I will be charged a $100 fine if there are any other photographers, and that is fine for me as long as I get the quality

They do allow outside photographers as @starlightDL says -- I'm featuring a wedding on the blog soon who hired Taylored Photo Memories for their wedding.
