Seeing we
were in Vegas a week for our Honeymoon, below are some more reviews of shows
and places we ate

Battista's
Hole in the Wall A+++
A group of
us went here for dinner the evening after the wedding. We had made reservations
the day before and were quickly seated as soon as we arrived. Me and hubby have
ate here before and loved it so our guests wanted to check it out before they
left the next day. Their food was really good and you can't go wrong with the
endless red and white wine and the delicious garlic cheese bread! We still had
cupcakes left over from the wedding that Hussong's kindly boxed up for us and
kept for us to pick up the next day which we did after our Cashman appt and
brought with us to dinner for dessert. They still tasted amazing!
Peppermill
B
My sister
and her boyfriend had went here for happy hour and raved about the food so we
decided to check it out. Honestly, we were'nt impressed. I loved the decor of
the place but our waitress had a stick up her butt walking around like she was
waiting to be discovered and it was annoying LOL We both ordered breakfast and
it was good just not 'omg' like other people have raved about. I really doubt
we would return here in the future.
Blue
Man Group C
We received
these tickets as a gift and I was so so excited but not even half way through
the show, as I was trying to hold my head up as I was falling asleep, I was
really glad we didn't buy these tickets ourselves! Neither one of us liked it
and both thought it sucked. I have never fallen asleep before during a show and
the only good part was the ending!
Bacchanal Buffet Caesars Palace A+++++
AMAZING!!
Dinner starts at 3pm ($45.99 pp, weekday) and we arrived around 4:50pm with
hardly anyone in line. The girl helping us told us it is usually a 2 hour wait
in line and as soon as we were seated and a few minutes after 5 pm hit, it got
packed and we were so glad we missed the huge line! It is really nice, the
servers are very attentive and the food is so so GOOD! I’m still drooling over
the banana foster crepes that I had-OMG. We stayed there stuffing our faces for
a good 3 hours. Worth every dime and minute!
Absinthe A++++++
This was another show I was excited to see! It was hilarious
and all the performers were great! They do get pretty raunchy with the talk but
it didn’t bother me but I did see other’s mouths drop open LOL It’s outside in
a tent so it’s pretty intimate inside and not a bad seat anywhere. I didn’t care too much for the seating as it
is wood chairs right next to the person next to you, so it can get snug. Other
than that, it was an awesome show.
Hussong’s Cantina
A++++
Yes we did come here again to eat after the wedding LOL It
was hubby’s birthday that Thursday and this is where he wanted to go for his
birthday dinner lol When we arrived they remembered us from Sunday and
congratulated us again and brought us 2 shots on the house! The mariachi’s also
remembered us and stayed at our table playing romantic love songs for us along
with a few funny ones LOL Always a great time!
David
Cooperfield D
I was in between giving this a C- or an actual D! Another
sucky show that ticked me off as soon as we got seated! When we purchased our
tickets, it was never mentioned how the seating was. Only that we were about ‘8
rows’ back from the stage so we assumed it was regular theater seating NOT a
tiny round table with four chairs crammed together sitting with another couple
you don’t know! I was not happy with this at all, especially once the table
next to us arrived and the chick was all on top of me thinking she had all this
space to cross her legs, bend her arms and toss her hair that I was about to
rope around her neck if she tossed it one more time in my face LOL Now the show
begins….They need to seriously take down the pics they have of him hanging out
front of the MGM from when he was 25 because when he came out he was freaking
old and looked like he could barely move! I was expecting this high end theatrical
show and what we got was mediocre pathetic staring at a balloon and popping it
or making a paper flower flicker around..ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? You’re freakin
David Copperfield and this is the crap your seriously putting out??
Golden Nugget Buffet
B
We had a coupon for buy one buffet lunch and the second is
free so why not? The selection isn’t all that huge , but the seating was nice
with the pool view and the food was good. I loved the calzone (omg the dough
was so soft), the macaroni and cheese and the cheese ravioli with alfredo sauce.
They also had cannoli which is my favorite and was pretty good too!
Gold Diggers-Golden
Nugget A+++++
I forgot to add this to my other wedding reviews, but we
came here both Saturday the night before the wedding (after OG) and Sunday late night after the wedding to
continue dancing and drinking with our guests who were also staying at GN.
Everytime we stay here, this is my place! I’m not a big club goer, I’m more of
a lounge person and I need good music to dance to and Gold Diggers has it. Both
nights we got table seating on the patio ($100 drink minimum) which has a great
view of Fremont street right below. They are also always passing out cards for
free cover charge which I don’t even know what it is with all the times we have
been here because we’ve never had to pay. Both nights the place was booming and
I like that you can come here dressed however you want and everyone is having a
great time dancing and drinking. My
sister who is a big club goer, loved it and wanted to keep coming here at the
end of each night-She said this is her new spot LOL Love it!
