Hi everyone! I just posted this question in my december board. But what songs are you coming out to for your reception? I love I gotta feeling ( black eyed peas) but I feel like it's used to much,  my fiance wants to use Renegade ( especially b/c our wedding is black and gold themed). What do you all think? Thanks in advance

    We used the theme to Top Gun - the instrumental one. 

    This was a decision that DH literally struggled with for months.  1.5 years later, he is still coming up with ideas.  ;)

    Our Bridal Party was announced to "Start the Commotion"

    We came out to "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness.

    DH chose both of these songs, and I thought they worked perfectly!

    Bridal Party was I Gotta Feeling and we were Short Skirt, Long Jacket by Cake.

    FWIF, I think you should go with what you love, even if other people are doing/have done it.

    We did the Throne Room music from Star Wars. It's a fanfare. DH picked, obviously. It was between that and Rick Rolling everyone. I'm not kidding.

    I can't remember what the Bridal Party came in to, but I think we came in to 'Another One Bites the Dust'

    Bridal party and parents came into the Startrek theme (old school), and DH and I came into the Olympic theme song (fanfare part). I loved it- totally felt like royalty walking in.

    We came into the Gonna Fly Now from the Rocky movies.  It was an inside joke between me and DH.  People thought it was cute!

    The Bridal Party came in to 'Final Countdown' which insued many, MANY Arrested Development jokes.  'Illusions, Michael! Tricks are what wh0res do for money... or candy!"

    We came in to 'Going to the chapel'.  People 'awwww'd'.
