Maui wedding location recommendations - Lahaina area

My best friend is planning a very quick destination wedding while in Maui next month. It will be really small (10 people max) and is looking for places that coordinate the things needed like flowers, officiant, etc. they are staying on the lahaina area and i'm sure beach ceremony locations rank high on her list. Does anyone have any recommendations on wedding locations? Thanks!

  • I'm using a wonderful company by the name of SimpleMauiWedding.net    They have a FANTASTIC photographer and they only use the TOP quality flower vendors, officiants etc.  Marissa, the coordinator has been super sweet and helpful and I'm really looking forward to working with her more! The website is awesome as it states every single thing that comes with every package and the price.  You can look at photos of their  beach selections and descriptions, choose a bouquet option by the photos (florals by Dellables are amazing!)  The layout is super easy and there's even a blog on their website that is updated every week with new brides so that you can see weddings that have recently taken place.  I CANNOT recommend them enough.  I just booked my deposit and I'm so excited.  I'm not sure if they will have a date on a month's notice but I would certainly contact them before calling anyone else.  The smallest package is $1550 plus tax (and the photos alone are worth every penny of that).  All packages include photography, coordinator, flowers, minister, assistance with marriage license etc.) The tax rate is 4.167% if you really want to get down to an exact number like me.  ha ha. Have your friend go to the website and check it out.  I'm beyond excited to let them coordinate my simple wedding!!  Good luck!
  • PS: Forgot to include...my location is a beach on west maui and then dinner at an oceanfront fine dining restaurant.  SimpleMauiWedding can assist her in choosing a great location.  Merriman's Kapalua is an awesome place.  Merriman's has a grassy overlook you can get married at oceanfront and then a small cabana that can be rented (but it's pricey) for a private, sunset dinner for up to 20 people.  This could be an option if she is in the financial position to meet a food and beverage minimum.  (Like 2k)
