For those who have booked the DD Bus through DD Bus Company did you have to hire a tour guide separately or was the guide included in the cost of the tour? I have seen some brides say they have used and iPod and others indicate a tour guide. I booked the DD bus but I never mentioned wanting a tour guide, because I thought it was automatically included. Am I wrong?

    No, I was told they'll be a driver and guide. The iPod you are referencing to may be for music. Some brides create a song list for the bus tour.

    A driver and 'guide' are included- some opt to have their guide be an impersonator for a fee.  I brought an iPod for music.  The guide hooked up his phone for music too so some of the songs we picked didn't get played but it was no biggie.  He gave us tid-bits about a few things were were driving by but wasn't tour guiding' the whole time or anything.  He was also the guy who could move around/go get drinsk while the bus was moving :)

    Is it worth it to splurge for the impersonator? It's more than the cost of my tour for 2 hours! We are going from 9-11pm... wondering if it will be "dull" without some more entertainment...

    We didn't request an impersonator, but when our bus showed up at the restaurant, Elvis stepped off the bus to greet up.  He wasn't dressed completely as Elvis or anything though since he wasn't actually supposed to sing, but our guests bribed him into preforming a few songs for us. :)  That said, we really enjoyed his performance and if our budget allowed, I wouldn't hesitate to book an impersonator if I had to re-do it again.  It wouldn't be dull without one though.

    Like PP, he didn't really do any guiding, just made sure no one was moving around while the bus was moving, got drinks for us and made sure one of my guests didn't drunkenly fall off the top of the bus...
