Split cost of flowers with another wedding in Newport next June 2014?

Hi there!

I will be getting married next June 21, 2014 in downtown Newport at 5:30pm.

Flowers are not supremely important to us. We were wondering if another couple getting married that weekend (or better yet, having a Saturday noon wedding) wanted to split the cost of flowers with us.

We are fairly open to floral design, but definitely looking for modern and beachy if possible.

do you have a florist lined up yet? it may be easier to see if the florist has another event that weekend, like another wedding or party that would want to split the cost with you. or better yet, see if your venue has another event going on and you can coordinate that way. I think it's an interesting idea, but can see how people do do centerpiece giveaways. you also want to think of logistics in transporting the flowers - who will be responsible? that's why I was thinking if the florist has an event, or your venue. best of luck! I will also mention that florists can be quite economical, especially if you don't want a lot and are willing to use local, seasonal flowers.
