Need help finding a tailor

Hi all,

I am looking for a good tailor to alter my wedding dress in the South Hills or around city of Pittsburgh.

Could anyone give me some recommendations? I went to Clarrissas Boutique for a fitting but they weren't sure if they could do everything before the wedding and it was really expensive!

TIA!!

If you know where the Castle Tavern is on 88, someone referred me to the tailor that is just across the street from there.    I'm not sure how they do on wedding gowns, but apparently he is reasonable and does good work on normal alterations.

Sorry that I don't know the name of it or really what kind of work they do.  A wedding gown is such an important alteration it's difficult to just trust anyone.  Hopefully someone will have someone they know more about.  Just wanted to give you an option!

My aunt is a seamstress and has done an amazing job on my dress!  Her store is called Bridal Sew and is in Carnegie (she works out of her house).  She isn't charging me since this is her wedding gift to me, but I think her prices are reasonable.

Here's a link to her Yellow Pages entry:

I'm late to reply, but I've heard good things about Alterations by Rina on Brookline Blvd.  A co-worker had her daughters prom dress altered by Rina and raved about her service and prices.
