BF... Ahem, now FI (sounds so strange!!!) and I both got off work early today since we leave for vacation tomorrow. He wanted me to meet him at the Apple store so he could get new earpods for the trip.
When I got to the mall he texted me to meet him at Bar Louie (the site of our first date on December 30, 2011) for drinks. I immediately got my hopes up but tried to talk myself down so I wouldn't be disappointed. He then texted me he was waiting at "our table" which I thought was cute and funny because we hadn't been back there since our first date. lol
As I was walking to the bar the mall radio station was playing "A Thousand Years" which was also the song playing in my car as I was parking for our first date... Awww... 
As soon as the waitress takes our drink order he looks at me and says "I've known this was it since our first date..." at this point my brain goes to static and then I hear "Do you want to get hitched?"
Then he holds up this beautiful ring... It is oval cut, nearly colorless and nearly flawless and man does it SPARKLE in the sun!!!
