Questions about Once Wed . com

Hi everyone! I was curious to see if any of you have used Oncewed.com to purchase a dress from. I found a really awesome reception dress on there but am a little confused by the buying process. I emailed the seller because that's all I could find to do. Any info would be great..

Once wed is basically brides selling their dresses that they either wore and are now selling, or maybe they decided on a different dress, so they are often unworn.  It's just like craigslist, for bridal gowns. Emailing the seller is the first step.

I would first, make sure it's a US Seller.  Chinese knockoff sites have figured out how to use oncewed and the other sites.  If it is, have them take a photo of the dress with a sign in front saying something like "AidenReily - June 7, 2013" so you can make sure they didnt' just steal the dress photo off of a website somewhere.  if you decide to buy the dress, they will most likely ask you to pay via paypal. 

There are escrow services where you can send the payment so you have some protection that you will receive the item. It costs money, but it's usually pretty cheap.

Ok thanks for the info. I just checked and it says she is from NC. I'm assuming North Carolina so that's good. So basically you send an email and wait for them to email back with payment and shipping details?
