GM/How was your weekend?

How did everyone's weekend go?  I hear pittsburgh is about to get some snow...how ridiculous!

I didn't do much of anything, and it was so nice! read some books, got wedding things put away, and just hung out.  I finally feel recovered from the dissertation and wedding.

Luckily we didn't end up getting snow, just rain.  It's cold and rainy out so I am taking the day to do cleaning and possibly start on a wedding monogram for our paddle fan programs while I watch Real Housewives of New Jersey, lol.

Since the weather was kind of crappy, I holed up at home and finished my DIY card box. I'm not the craftiest person, so I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. It actually looks better in person that in does in the photo.



The Penguins lost in game 6 of the playoffs, so that put a little bit of a damper on things. On a better note, I spent some time with a friend who is in town from Portugal.

Hi Ladies! We did last minute things for the wedding! Which was a relief to get the majority of everything done.  I got to go out for FSIL Bday on Friday which was fun!

Hi everyone! We had a really nice relaxing weekend as well. We finally saw the Hunger Games. I've read the books and really enjoyed them so I was pleasantly surprised that the movie followed the books pretty closely.

Wedding related, our invitations were delivered on Friday. I love love love them! I actually can't wait to start addressing them (I'm sure that feeling will be fleeting when I'm on about number 37)

And we bought our wedding bands this weekend. Mine was put on layaway, so it just needed resized and I can pick it up today. And fiance's will be ready to be picked up in about 2 weeks.

Hi ladies,

I actually had a wonderful weekend. I went to Pgh for the last time until the wedding so it was busy but really fun. I had my hair and make up trial which I was very pleased with. I also had my bridal session pictures taken with my photographer which was sooooo much fun. I was nervous that my dress would get dirty (which the bottom did) but it was so worth it. I spoke with the DJ to go over songs, went down to the church to do a last run through and had my Pittsburgh Bridal Shower which was a ton of fun.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed their weekend as well

My FI lives out of state currently, but he was able to spend a few days in Pgh. We still haven't picked a venue yet. We visited another place, hashed out the numbers, and are back to the drawing board. It's tough with him not being able to visit half the places with me. And tougher still trying to schedule our engagement photos when he only gets his work schedule one month at a time. It was nice to spend time with him though! He picked up his son this weekend, too, so we all hung out on Saturday.

Hear it's going to snow tonight! 

I am itching to post a 'checks' msg!! Just wish we would make up our minds already haha.

My weekend was nice and relaxing...FI and I got to play with our nieces and get things done that we needed to at home.  Today....now, that's another story that I won't get into, haha.

Picked up our wedding bands this weekend and scanned some stuff at Macys... Plus our friend threw us a tropical-themed party in celebration of our upcoming nuptials- that was super nice just to hang out with friends with good food and drink and music.

Weekend was great!! We went to IKEA and bought 1 of our 2 centerpieces, went to the mall and started getting ideas for our registery. We will do that more this summer or September. We relaxed and started house hunting!
