Alterations - Sterling Heights

Hi All,

I am getting married in the Lansing area but live in Sterling Heights and am looking for recommendations on where to get my dress altered.  I purchased it from Becker's Bridal in Fowler and they don't do alterations.  Any recommendations? Sterling Heights or close. Thanks!

You might want to try The Stitch in Shelby Township or The Sewing Room in Utica.  Both are on Van Dyke.

I did check through the vendor review thread and found nothing near my house unless it was David's bridal.  I will try the two on Van Dyke, thanks!

Also try Diana's House of Fashion in Shelby Twp. I had my dress altered there and she did a beautiful job. She put in a corset back, which I was nervous about because the dress has detail all the way up the back and I was afraid it would detract from the detail. The way she put in the corset kept the detail noticeable and actually added to the beauty of the dress.She also hemmed the dress just right so I can wear heels for the ceremony and flats for the dress. She added a bustle that looks like it was original to the dress. She was quick, I could have had my dress in 2 weeks but I wasn't able to get there for the second fitting until a month later. She was very affordable.
