Weirdest Registry Item?

My FI and I recently went to a wedding of a good friend of ours. We pulled up her gift registry and it was the usual items that most people put on a registry but I thought it was funny when we saw that she had registered for toilet paper. Yes we did get her the toilet paper (as a joke) since like I said we're good friends with her but we also got her a 2nd gift from the registry too. 

I am wondering if anyone else has seen toilet paper on a registry and / or what is the weirdest thing you have seen or heard of being put on a registry??

THAT is funny. That is also something my fiance would register for, haha. 

I haven't had any friends register for something absurd yet, hopefully we won't be the first!

I know a girl who registered for three kitchenaid mixers. My guess is she couldn't pick a color, and thought she'd let the gift givers decide. Hope she didn't actually want all three of them.

My friend got Angel Soft toilet paper at her shower and I still remember it years later as one of the funniest shower things.  When she opened it she laughed and told everyone the story of how it got on the registry.  Apparently it is the TP her H likes but she buys the kind she likes so when they were at Target registering he said can I get the TP I like if someone buys it off the registry and that is how it happened.

We put a hedgehog boot scrapper on our registry because we have 2 pet hedgehogs and thought it was cute. My friend actually bought it for us.

We have mustache coasters on our registry. I saw them and laughed. We decided we had to have them on the list because of personal jokes and I know we have friends who will get a kick out of seeing it on the list.

We put a couple boxes of this awesome red velvet cake mix on ours. It's incredible but I can never justify buying it because it's expensive. Also it's a bit of a joke.

Very early on when I thought I wanted to do an Amazon registry, FI tried to add basically every action figure sold on Amazon. I swiftly changed our registry to Pottery Barn

we put a kurig on our registry not a strange gift but my fi is the only coffee drinker that will be in our house.. strange gift was we also put 2 boxes of the k cups on the list  i work in retail and someone came to my line and had a gift off a gift registry for a wedding the couple wanted a board game kinda strange but maybe they will have game night.

i have seen baby registrys with all kinds of weird things like clothes for the older children. adult food, video games

My fiance and I are registered for Pokemon Cards. that's what happens when you give your Finance the registry scanner, while he is on pain killers.

Tampons on a registry is a new one for me and the Pokemon Cards are just plain funny. We were going to put a coffee maker on ours even though I am allergic to coffee (drinking. I can smell it and be ok I just can't drink it) and my FI is the only one who does drink it but my parents ended up buying him a coffee maker for his birthday. Lol

One of my long time friends had a fire extinguisher on her registry! She can't cook so me and a friend went in and bought it along with cook books

I love the fire extinguisher. That is funny. The chip and dips tray is funny but was probably cute too (or maybe that's just my opinion). Lol

I have had high school acquaintances register for hand soap, a marriage help book, and items for their daughter (a little suitcase, Barbie sleeping bag, etc). I think the weirdest one I've seen recently is registering for each individual McCormick spice and then a separate spice organizer vs. a spice rack/organizer that comes with the spices. Maybe that's not that weird though? It just seems like a pain to scan each spice!

@Colls39  It does seem like a pain to me too. Lol. It is a tiny bit strange that they registered for a different spice rack instead of the one that comes with but maybe they didn't like the one that came with the spices? Lol.

I know someone that registered for a playstation. 

A friend of a friend is getting married shortly and she was shocked to see that she registered for a ton of really expensive figurines - as in $650-$800 a piece.  They weren't wedding type figurines - they were animals and such.

My fiance scanned Spanx onto our registry. While I appreciated the thought... (he said that he knew I was gonna wear them anyways... lol) I deleted it off the registry list.

I saw a hairdryer on one, which I think is an odd one.  I registered for a bundt cake preserver and my fiance made me take it off.  My dreams of making daily bundt cakes are dashed.

A hairdryer is a bit odd. I would be sad too if my FI made me take something off like a bunt cake preserver.

I know a girl who put lots of lingerie on her Target registry - lots of teddies, thongs, etc.  Right there next to her KA mixer.  She got almost nothing from that registry, presumably because her guests thought it was awkward.

I had family register for a bag of M&M's and a year later they are were still eating them.  Everyone thought it was cute and funny and got them.

Yeah if I was a guest and saw a registry like that I think I would have opted for just writing a check or getting a gift card. Lol
