 Good evening ladies!
  
 Any suggestions for a short & easy newspaper wedding announcement? Is there anything I 'have' to include? If I can avoid it, I don't want one of those long ones with parents/grandparents names and all that. Just something simple & nice! Any suggestions? :)

    Ditto PPs. Most papers will have online forms for you to fill out -- and you can fill out as much or as little information as you wish. Some papers still offer these for free, others charge. Those that do charge will charge by the column inch. In general, 30 words = one column inch. So, the shorter and sweeter, the better!

    Engagement announcements, which go in BEFORE the wedding, obviously, are often more in-depth than wedding announcements, but don't have to be.

     Awesome ladies! Thanks! :) I will check to see if the local paper has an area to fill it out online. That would be much easier than going down there! Perfect! Thanks again!
