To buy or not to buy Seal n Send Wedding Invitations

Hi ladies! We are starting to think about what kind of wedding invitations to buy. How are all of your feelings on Seal n Send invitations? We think it is a great way to save money. If we do go with these kind, we are thinking about embelishing them a little bit with some rhinestones inside. I have read a few reviews that they may have some post office issues. What are your thoughts/experiences with these?

Re: To buy or not to buy Seal n Send Wedding Invitations

  • I've never heard of seal n send, but I'm picture the kind of thing they use for paystubs, where you tear off three sides and the middle opens to have your info.
  • I was thinking of going that way, too. But the FI asked: do we then pre-stamp the reply card piece? I think yes...

Ours is a smaller, more intimate and casual wedding, so I think it would work. I got a sample from Invitations by Dawn and we liked the quality.
  • I'm using Seal & Sends too.  I've always thought traditional invitations were a huge waste of paper with so many envelopes.

readingrrl: You do need to put a postcard stamp on the response portion of a seal & send; just like you would on the envelope of a traditional invitation response.
  • I thought I wanted to go that way too, but then I saw one and didn't like that the sides were exposed. Maybe it was just the one I saw, but you could stick your finger into the invite and look at the inside with it sealed. Maybe not a big deal, but I didn't like it. I loved the idea of one piece and little waste. Now I am leaning towards a flat card with a potcard reply. Saves at least one envelope on the reply.
