why don't you have them walk single file?  Groomsmen, bridesmaid, groomsmen, bridesmaid, final groomsmen.

This was our case. We had the second BM walk with two guys. Or I like the filing idea

My brother's best man stood with him at the alter; each of the other groom's men walked in one of the mothers, and then the bridesmaids walked in solo.

I vote invisible bridesmaid.  No one will be expecting it.  You could name her Shirley (unless you already have a Shirley in your wedding party.  Mona would make a good backup invisible bridesmaid.).

He could walk by himself, or one of the bridesmaids could walk with two groomsmen.

I'd just have everyone walk on their own, or have the GM up front already and just have the BMs in the processional.
