just finished our registries

so we just finshed our registeries had an event at macys but we did not win anything did most of the registry there plus some of the high end appliances like the kitchenade stand mixer has a better regular price at macys than bed bath and beyond. we did have a registry at bed bath and beyond with items that we wanted from them. it also gives our guest choices if there is no macys near them or no bed bath and beyond we have a lot of out of state guests.

If you registered in-store, double check and make sure that items in a variety of price ranges can also be purchased online. If you have a lot of out of state guests, it's likely they'd purchase online and have the gift shipped directly to your house.
  • I second what itzMS said. When I registered at Macys, a lot of the things I picked where unavailable for online purchase. So I registered for more things online... and many of those things are unavailable for in-store purchase -___-

  • yes i made sure that things were avalible in store and online we did a variety of gifts at bed bath and beyond and macys but did all of our appliances at macys beacuse the prices were better.. got a lot of items under 50 with most being under 20 have some big ticket items but i think my higest priced one was my kitchenaid stand mixer. ( i did not ask for a hand mixer) and i am a hobby baker in my spare time so i def put  lot of baking stuff and my fi he is a chef so he put a lot of cooking stuff on the registry. the one thing we omited was luggage beacuse we have luggage and we can buy it after when we figure out how many gift cards we get

for those who already got married did you wait till your wedding was over to use the gift cards. i am planning on doing that as gifts will still filter in after the shower and wedding.
  • I registered at Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Williams Sonoma.  So far, most of the gifts I have received are from BBB, I'd assume because of those 20% off coupons.  I like the registry incentives from WS the most though.
