Freaking out

Its wildfire season in Colorado right now. There is a fire roughly 25ish miles from my house and encroaching rapidly on my home town, and several of my friends parents have been evacuated :( We currently are smoked inside our houses because it's so awful when you go outside. I am freaking out because my venue is fairly popular and all of their rooms are booked for my date. We are currently scheduled to be outside the entire night but if it's this smoky, it's going to be miserable!! The venue is currently working on my plan b, but I'm freaking out they don't have it yet!!

    Trust the firefighters and their ability to squash out the fires... we had fires fairly close to us as well last month and I was terrified that they were going to hit our wedding venue area. I remember reading this and thinking "Wow, love really does conquer all".     Aww, that made me cry!! I know my situation is nothing compared to that and I am greatful. I am just not good at dealing with any kinks in my plans. Bless that bride, if I had half of her strength I'd be unstoppable!!

    I would be freaking out as well.  I am sure the venue will take good care of you.  Try and stay positive :)

    I'm sorry this is causing you anxiety!! My family was very close to the Waldo Canyon fire last June in CO so I can understand why you're so stressed!! I'm confident the venue will have a plan B...come on, it's CO during wildfire season, this can't be the first time something like this has happened, right? If you have a DOC, talk to her about similar situations and other options. I hope everything works out!
