Been noticing more new names and less of the more familiar names. I guess with people getting married there's more new people coming. Time is starting to go by so fast the last couple months came and went. 10 more months!

We are counting down the months til we will be back in Vegas celebrating our anniversary.. about 3.5 months left. I have booked flight, hotel, hair and makeup (for our big night out), next on the list is making our reservations for dinner.

I noticed the same thing valarie! A lot of new people. I also couldn't agree more about time. It seems like once I hit less than a year, time has been going quick. Lol. Hey nursing, been thinking about you. Hope all is well and things are coming together. Your day is just around the corner.

Yes the stresses of wedding planning have begun. Nothing too bad though. But I agree sunni the 1 year mark has made time pass by fast! I need to get started on losing some pounds lol

Feel the same way. When I first came on the board in early 2012, there were mostly 2012/2013 brides and almost no 2014 brides... Now there's lots of them! 2014!!!

I'm right there with you Valerie, I have had to re-kickstart my healthy eating and exercising after a few weeks of being way too naughty! I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into at the end of July and after that it will be all focus on the wedding and looking fab in my wedding dress

We are so awesome I love Vegas none of my friends get why I love it so much lol. I think I joined back in February and have been on daily ever since

I agree @allyscud!  I've gotten so many great ideas and everyone is really helpful!  

I love that those that have gotten married still come around and offer reviews and tips!  

I also love VEGAS!  I have almost a year until my wedding, but I'm counting the days to my Vegas trip in July!!!!

sunni... thanks girl.. I know... it became VERY STRESSFUL... and all of a sudden I changed soo pretty much everything (except the chapel).. but I am feeling soo much better right now... I am breathing again,,,

I can't believe I have 3weeks... I have soo many little details to do..

Valerie.. you betta get to that gym girl... The time truly starts to FLYYYYYY!!!!...

Since February.. I have been in the gym taking Spin Class 6 days a week.. (that works for me.. I'm a lil obsessed.. well a LOT).. had 1st dress fitting after the seamstress took in my dress 4 inches. and yup.. she is taking it in some more now..  I go back next friday... because I refused to stop going to the gym and losing weight and mostly INCHES...

I know the next 3 weeks will fly by...

@missmo... ok first thing I have to say.. is always go with your FIRST GUT CHOICE.. I originally had looked at Yolo's Mexican Grill in Planet Hollywood.. and LOVED THE COLORS and the atmosphere.. I really just wanted somewhere we all could just kick back eat and drink and just chill.. I got sooo starry eyed over stardust.. (understandable we all know this).. but when it came down to what I really wanted.. I was able to get EVERYTHING I wanted.. in the location I wanted (on the strip) for my guests.. I feel soooo at peace right now... wayyy less money.. and we can go do what you're suppose to do in VEGAS.. get married and PARTY...

yes... I am REALLYYYYYYY BUMMED about my deposit.. but when I look at the big picture.. with having 25-30 guests (including the wedding party).. 4500 for the stardust plus everything else we planned to accommodate our guests... was too much.. Sooo even with losing my deposit (still cuts deep)... we are still coming out 2000 less..

and it's all about what is making us happy. no drama or stress... I wanted to pay cash for everything so that when the day is done... it's done... no lingering bills or anything..

 

and I can BREATHE AGAIN!!!

I feel the same way about Maggianos. Our minimum is 4500. With taxes and fees it will be $5, 837.40. We have already paid a deposit of $2250 so regardless of whether we have 20 or 50 guests we HAVE to have our reception there because i refuse to lose my deposit! The difference will be whether we end up booking other things through them ie cake, dj, photobooth, uplighting. At the moment all of those are booked externally but the package we have picked with maggianos is about $115 per person so we need at least 45 guests to make it worth it. We will make final decisions once we get all of our RSVP back. Thank fully we will only lose $250 in deposits if we have to rebook our dj and photobooth through maggianos.

Im so glad you have gone with your gut instincts though Nursing. Im possibly booking at Yolos for my bachelorette.

I remember that. I came on about July 2012 and There were very few of us on here! Now there is so many of us!

@Nursing how many people did you have at Yolos?  Was there a minimum?

I actually changed my mind at the last minute..
but.. no minimum number or f&b minimum..you just have to put down 1/2 your total as your deposit.. THEY were very accommodating. .
