Military wedding--do my colors have to match?

Hi there!  I'm marrying an Army man, and he'll probably wear his white mess uniform.  There will be a number of guests also wearing Army and Air Force uniforms.  But I really like designs with orange and green and not so much red and blue.  Do my colors, bridesmaid dresses, decor, etc., have to match the blues and whites that so many people will be wearing?  I ask from the standpoint of etiquette and design.

Nope. White and navy are both neutrals. You can have any other colors you would like.

I do recommend that you ensure that the other groomsmen and bridesmaids wear formal attire since the white mess uniform is reserved for very formal events.

No, definitely not. It'll all pull together and they're all neutral (and totally hot! haha).

I think a military uniform will look nice with just about any color scheme.
